Yes, they are costly. Baby's breathe costs about $20 for 5 stocks at the wholesaler. Just bought some last week, but they don't really last. I tried to dry them, but the dried ones are not as nice.
Yes they turn brown. Forget-me-nots retain the colour very well when dried. I have some bright yellow ones at home that lasted for months already after I dried them.

They grow brown don't they? I don'treally like dried flowers, but potpourri is sometimes nice.
