shopping spree with mom

Mom will be attending a wedding dinner tomorrow evening and I have been appointed her shopping kaki and image consultant. As a result, I have been shopping with her for the past few days to look for a new outfit, new shoes and new bag. Of course, her makeover will be done by me tomorrow.

1. New hairdo
I brought mom to my hairstylist for a new look. My stylist Priscilla gave my mom red highlights to brighten her face. She ended up with a refreshing spiky do. I think Pris did a great job.

2. New clothes
I found her a black translucent top with matching skirt. We found a really nice purple top from BYSI too, but the size was wrong. We shall look for that top from other outlets.

My mom liked this turquoise tube dress from Phuture London, but she said it looked much nicer on me. She mentioned if she were my age, she will wear a black tube dress with lace and a scarf!

3. New bag
My mom wanted to look for a clutch bag - the latest in thing! However, there were no suitable ones. The only one she liked from Tangs was in deep green which didn't really match her outfit. So we will continue our search tomorrow.

4. Manicure and Pedicure
After we came home from our shopping spree, I did manicure and pedicure for my mom with dark dull pink. A little pamper for her since she sprained her ankle this morning.

Today, as a result of my shopping spree, I bought myself 2 new bags (gold in colour), a pair of gold wedges to match my new bags and an off-shoulder red knitted top. I am rather happy with my purchases!

you did mention the other shopping day that you were into gold shoes. :) I shall look into different colours too. Just no time now!
