can anyone be perfect?

One of my niece's 2 teenage daughters complained that her sister had more friends, got better grades, went more places, had more talent - and the list went on. Finally, she concluded by saying "And she's prettier than I am!"

They are identical twins.

As the Chinese saying goes "Is the moon really rounder when viewed from another country?" The English version of "Is grass really greener on the other side?" Do people always feel inferior and feel that others are always better off than themselves? Human beings are very difficult to satisfy. But nothing in the world is perfect, except for God.

I think that human beings should learn to be thankful for what they have. It is a matter of perspective. A glass that is half filled with water can always be seen as half full or half empty. I always give thanks that I have 2 eyes, 2 ears, a nose and a mouth with 4 limbs perfectly healthy. What more can I ask for? Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. An apple that is beautiful on the outside will not be desirable if the core is rotten or is rotting away.
