complexity

Received some irritating messages from unwanted flies in my friendster account and logged in to delete them. Noticed that J updated his profile on valentine's day with new photos uploaded... so decided to take a peep... actually no need to peep... take a look at his profile.

" I'm smiling but my heart is bleeding.... True love is worth waiting for even if it takes a lifetime. Then in return a lifetime of love will be waiting for you. Forever isn't what I want to spend waiting for you, it's what I want us to spend loving each other."

I could almost feel his heart breaking in pieces... His status went from "Attached" to "It's Complicated." to "Single". ** lightbulb blinked... take a deep breathe... look again...** Yes, confirm the word is single.

Smsed him.

Me: Hi J, how are you feeling? u ok?
J: Yah, y?
Me: Oh, i saw your updated friendster profile... so I thought I better sms u to see how u are.
J: Thankx, I'm fine, somethings need to let nature take it's course, how are u and the rest? btw, I'll be sailing to India for a month next week.
Me: Wow... one month is really long! All of us are rather
busy. Haven't hang out for ages!
J: We'll see if we could catch up. Meanwhile, take care.. good night, sweet dreams n sleep tight... may God bless u.

He's such a sweet guy... Still remember last year he came to my birthday party with a bottle of pink Givenchy perfume... coz he knew that I love pink. That was only the second time we met. So sweet of him to remember I like pink although most of the time we only chat on MSN.

Sometimes, online friends know you better than your earthly friends... this is the second time I wrote this phrase on my blog. Maybe we strange human beings really express better with words written than spoken.

Is it really that difficult to say " I love you." out loud? Is it the chinese culture thing that refrain us from saying things that we feel embarrassed about? But love is a great thing... love is NOT an embarrassed thing!!!

Still can't understand the complex human being...
