Noon...Met up Slushy for lunch and discussed a very heavy and serious topic on friendship. Head heavy after the meetup and was sitting stunned at the bus stop. Thought of heading back to office, but the bus came and went without me even noticing. My little brain was cluttered with too many unhappy things in my mind.
Decided to leave the bus stop since my bus left. And walked aimlessly into Tanjong Pagar station. Boarded the train equally aimlessly and got down at Raffles Place. Walked around again aimlessly... my mind full of work, etc... stressed up...
I ended up at Beautiful Station - my nail parlour. Suddenly remembered that I had a package signed with them and had the last manicure left undone from a long time back. I went in and realised they have a new boss. To salvage my undone manicure, I signed on a new package at $250 for another year with 5 manicure, 5 pedicure and 4 French manicure / nail art. While doing pedicure, my manicurist discovered I had some thickened skin on my feet due to long hours walking on heels and recommended some peeling foot therapy for me. Splurged another $167 on that. Ok, this is the biggest splurge on retail therapy for me ever. Sigh. Not a good sign.
