the grandeur of Macau Venetian Hotel

The first impression. The hotel looked super grand but there were no bell boys to brink your luggage to your room! Poor us had to drag our luggage up endless flights of stairways, escalators, shopping mall alleys, across the casino, etc.... to our room. It was a maze and it was amazing how long we walked. It took us at least 25 mins to reach our room from the hotel lobby.

You must be wondering what this place is.... Make a guess? And I'm pretty sure that's a wrong answer. And no, I'm not kidding. This is the Venetian Hotel Foodcourt. The ceiling is painted blue with clouds and spotlight shining on the ceiling. And the best part, the "sky" changes colour as time passes. When it is evening time, it becomes rosy orange so gradually it felt so real! I must say the architect is a genius.

there's a mall on the outskirts of tokyo, for women, with such architecture and changing sky too. Sounds interesting, but too bad I didn't have time to pop down.
