wedding lunch

Went for a primary school classmate's wedding lunch held at Marriot Hotel this afternoon.

Verdict 1: Lousy Service.
Everytime we ask for anything, we have to ask the service staff at least 2-3 times before they respond. I had to ask for a straw 2 times, a red wine 3 times, my friend asked for a coke 2 times before we get it. For those getting married and looking for a place to host your wedding banquet, please do not consider Marriot, even if you are very tight on budget.

Verdict 2: Lousy Food.
Whether the food is good or not, you just need to see what kind of desserts they serve. That's the last dish of the whole banquet, if the hotel can perfect the dessert dish, it shows the effort of the rest of the 8 or 9 dishes before that.

And guess what was our dessert? Watermelon cubes soaked in water.

Too exaggerated? No way.

No. It wasn't Watermelon sago. There was no sago.
No. It wasn't cut fruits. The pieces were very messily cut.
No. It can't be called dessert. There was no syrup at all.
