slushy

There was supposedly a TUF gathering this evening and nobody informed me of the meeting venue and time. My training ended at 5pm and I smsed Gideon who was supposedly the organiser. No reply. I called him on his mobile phone. No answer. It went into his voicemail. I hung up. I hate voicemails. It's such a hassle to have to wait for the person to listen to the voicemail before calling you back. It's too inefficient. I want to talk to the person directly on the phone and settle it there and then.

I decided to head towards Orchard area while calling Gideon again. No reply. This time I hung up before hearing the voice mailbox and redialled again. Still no answer. Lousy. I is damned pissed off. I sat down on a bench outside Tangs to decide whether I should go shop around alone while waiting for Gideon to call back or head back home.

Then Slushy called to see whether I'm free to meet her at Suntec for dinner. I said ok and immediately head towards Suntec. This is what I call efficient. Immediate date and immediate response and action. Just do it. In this day and technology age, everything must move fast!!! So slow coach people cannot tahan one! That's what I like about Slushy. Equal efficiency, if not more efficient than me.

The first thing that Slushy gave me when we sat down was a huge bar of dark chocolates she bought me from Carrefour. Wow! It's been a long time since I touched chocolates... And it just brings me wonderful memories. Slushy almost always never fails to buy me a bar of dark chocolates whenever she goes to the supermart before meeting me or while meeting me. She is such a darling to remember that I love dark chocolates.

It's the little details that make her so sweet. And she bought me a pair of earrings that she thought I would like and she bought a brown pair, remembering that I mentioned to her that I was looking for brownish coloured accessories. She's just so sweet.
