oxymorons

Oxymorons are two words used together which have, or seem to have, opposite meanings.

... war games... ... silent scream... ...deafening silence... ...cruel kindness... ...mournful optimist... ...working vacation... ...least favourite... ...constant change... ...still moving... ...pretty ugly... ...ill health... ...nothing much... ...good grief... ...forgotten memories... ...almost exactly... ...act naturally... ...true story... ...safety hazard... ...original copy... ...random order... ...old news... ...only choice... ...liquid gas... ...dry wine... ...second best... ...awfully good... ...true lies...

joshua: Oxymoron is a rhetorical device of the English language. A very powerful tool in scripting. Go and google it. Or join the toastmasters club.

mrdes: I learnt that from toastmasters too! Next I need to go and digest the meaning of "gerand". :)
