I love attending seminars. At least I can always take home some learning points from the platform speakers. Recently I attended the Sales Congress and I would like to share a couple of interesting learning points from the speaker, Mr Gopinath. Many people walked out of the room during his speech because they were unable to understand his heavily accented English and his extremely deafening voice but sad to say they really missed out some excellent life lessons that was being shared.

In Life, there are only 2 choices - Excellence or Average.
Only 5% of us choose Excellence and the rest of the 95% did not make a choice. So if they do not make any choices, they will just become average. People who do not want to choose Excellence because you need to pay a price to be excellent. But does it mean you do not have to pay a price when you choose to be just average? NO! Both choices, you have to pay a price!
People who choose Excellence pay the price now by studying hard, working hard and putting in sweat and blood. And this group of people will enjoy life later.
People who choose to be Average will enjoy life now, rest and relax. But they will have to pay a price later in their lives during retirement. If not, their children will have to pay the price.

How true is this!
You drill as if it is a bloodless battles and you battle as if it is a bloody drill. And you can apply this lesson to everything in life!
